This is a very beautiful, high-ceilinged room. The wooden roof structure is striking, reminiscent of early Romanesque churches.
Wooden roofs were a common feature of churches in the Romanesque and early Christian periods, often consisting of simple wooden trusses, beams, and ties to support the roof.
